Attending life-coaching sessions with Mary Seabrook certainly helped me
regain some balance in my life after a disastrous career move left me all at
sea. Mary listened while I talked through events and then worked with me to
develop a series of coping strategies. These were designed to make sure I
avoid the slippery, downward spiral that we all find it too easy to fall
into. I now have invisible but strong weapons to protect me from negative
thought patterns. It's worth spending the time with Mary to develop coping
strategies to help with all sorts of everyday situations and learn more
about how to achieve the work/life balance you've always wanted.![]()

I have gained the ability to consider how I think of different situations, especially driving, and not let negative thoughts spoil things I want to do. It has made me aware that if I think negatively it is equally easy to think positively and this has been quite a revelation!
I am now much more aware of things, e.g. making the attempt to converse with people, not thinking negatively about things and acting on things, so in a very short while you have helped me to achieve much, and I am very grateful for that.

I came to Life Coaching because of a need to make radical changes to my life - move to a different part of the country where I know nobody with the resultant retirement from my job.
I wanted to be a more decisive person who knew what they wanted to do and where they wanted to live.
After just one session I realised that I am fairly good at making decisions and am quite happy with the drastic uncertainty going on in my life.
The coaching enabled me to think more laterally and to stop beating myself up about the supposed inadequancies in my personality. I learned to congratulate myself on the positives instead of concentrating on the negatives.
I have certainly been in a happier frame of mind since the sessions that I had.
